Exact replicas of racing planes built in Patterson by aviation pioneers Jimmy Wedell and Harry Williams are displayed. Visitors can experience a re-created 1930s air race in a theater presentation featuring 180-degree video screens, surround sound and special effects.
Also on permanent display are exhibits documenting the history of the cypress logging industry in Louisiana and a Stearman crop duster.
