Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park is at 8012 Blanchard-Furrh Rd. More than 160 acres of wilderness are maintained as a preserve for bird-watching, hiking, nature walks, photography and picnicking. Five nature trails, ranging from a quarter-mile to 2.5 miles, allow visitors to explore gently rolling hills replete with wildlife and native trees. An interpretive building provides exhibits and classroom facilities for special programs. Naturalists are on-site to answer questions.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
