Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge is on Chappaquiddick Island, 2.5 mi. s.e. of the Chappaquiddick ferry landing on Chappaquiddick Rd., then .5 mi. e. on Dike Rd. to the parking lots by Dike Bridge; the refuge entrance is over the bridge. The refuge includes a 7-mile-long beach, superb fishing spots, 14 miles of trails and the historic 1801 Cape Poge Lighthouse. Through a variety of guided and self-guiding tours offered on the property, visitors may explore its diverse upland and marine habitats as well as the lighthouse.

A free shuttle from the Chappaquiddick ferry landing is available for tour participants; shuttle departs 15 minutes before each tour.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
