Whittier Birthplace

Whittier Birthplace is off I-495 exit 52, then 1 mi. e. on SR 110 to 305 Whittier Rd. This 1688 house is the birthplace and boyhood home of poet John Greenleaf Whittier. Furnished with original pieces, it remains as described in Whittier's poem “Snow-Bound.”
