AAA Editor Notes
Boothbay Railway Village, 3.5 mi. n. on SR 27 to 586 Wiscasset Rd., depicts a turn-of-the-20th-century Maine village containing railroad memorabilia, antique cars and trucks and a general store as well as the 1847 Boothbay Town Hall and the Spruce Point Chapel. Visitors can ride on a narrow-gauge, coal-fired steam engine. A Christmas train runs in December.

$14; $12 (ages 65+); $7 (ages 3-18); free (ages 0-2 and active duty military and families with ID).
Hours
Village daily 10-5, Memorial Day-third Sun. in Oct. Trains depart most days hourly 11-4. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 2 hours minimum.
