Pros: We visited Brunswick because we wanted to experience all forms of transport on our trip to maine and other parts of the US. Our objective was to stay a few nights at a beautiful small town and to take the AMTRAK (called Downeaster) to Boston. The train starts at Brunswick and reaches Boston after passing through some beautiful towns. We started the Journey at Bangor, Maine by Concord bus service which was another fantastic trip and was dropped at Brunswick station and that's exactly where Brunswick Hotel and tavern is located. The first reason for the selection is that this hotel is exactly next to the station which in itself is quite beautiful. The hotel in itself is well located and is built in a typical old town architecture and the rooms were truly well furnished with all that traveller needs ( laundry service, Steam Iron and ironing board, hair dryer etc). The room was very spacious with 2 queen sized beds and a very large clean and beautiful bathroom. The Hotel has a tavern and restaurant below which is pen to residents and town folks, the restaurant serves local cuisine which was sumptuous and filling(pricing was affordable). Given that this is a very small town the pace is never crowded. The Tariff was a bit steep but the stay was well worth it. The station has a town bus service which starts here every hour and u can see the entire city in USD 1.5 per person for return trip. The place though small has a giant Walmart and other shopping complexes which are covered by this bus service.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: The room had few lights and one central bedside table. It was hard to read in bed if you were not beside the table and light. Full sized beds? They were kind of small.

Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us store our mountain bikes in our room as we were afraid they'd be stolen from our bike rack.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
