Pros: Lovely ambiance that meets the Relais & Chateaux reputation
Cons: Physical access is a major challenge. Steep, narrow stairways to 3rd floor accommodations.
Cons: Bathroom was poky, with no place to put things. Sink didn't drain. Noisy air conditioner. There was a dangerous step between the bedroom and bath that you couldn't help tripping on several times a day. Long vertiginous staircase to 2nd floor. Overly fancy breakfast choices but no cereal. Fawning attention by numerous staff didn't make up for flaws.
Pros: this place is just outstanding.
The staff is more than friendly and zhe hotel`s policy to treat every guest like a family member just works.
The breakfast is one of the best we ever had, comes right before the one in Adlon, Berlin.
Pros: The staff made our stay so wonderful. The Royal Dutch Suite was a dream. Natalie's gave us one of the best meals we'd ever had!
Pros: The Victorian building was great -- too bad they spoiled it with the choice of furniture. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The service was either saccharin or indifferent. No elevator and the stairs were dangerous. This hotel is NOT up to Relais & Chateaux standards
Pros: The location, the friendly and accommodating staff, and the breakfast!
Cons: Going up and down the rather narrow staircase, the rather "awkward" way to unload baggage, the rather "cramped" check-in location, and having to move to a different and somewhat smaller room for our last night.
Pros: Beautiful update to hotel. nice confortable room. Liked the common areas including the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and professional.
Cons: The only comment would be the price of the hotel as compared to any other in her area, I have no doutpbt that is was the nicest but it really was a first deal more pricy. Although the we enjoyed it, we might consider a pint her hotel next year,
Pros: Incredible staff and the stay had little gifts and surprises, cookies every day all day and a going away gift. So Thoughtful!
Natalie's was delicious!
Cons: Stairs were tough and spa was really just a massage room.
Pros: Location is superlative. Close to town center, but out of the noise and congestion.
family with older children
Pros: Nice fusion between New England mansion and European modern interiors.
