Dexter Historical Society's Grist Mill Campus, downtown at 3 Water St., features an 1854 gristmill that was operational until 1965, a restored one-room schoolhouse used 1845-1944 and the 1825 Miller's House. Exhibits include an old-fashioned kitchen and parlor, farm implements and World War I memorabilia. The Abbott Museum, 12 Church St. in the 1836 Town Hall, contains a genealogy and research library as well as historic displays.
