Maine Wildlife Park, e. off I-95 exit 63 following signs, then 3.5 mi. n. on SR 26 (Shaker Rd.), houses 30 wildlife species native to Maine, including moose, deer and bears. Most of the animals cared for at the park had been injured or orphaned or had become dependent upon man because they were raised in captivity. A state fish hatchery, a visitor center, nature trails, wildlife gardens and several interactive displays about Maine's wildlife resources are featured.
