AAA Editor Notes

The Kennebunkport Historical Society oversees a complex of five historical buildings at 125-135 North St. The Henry H. Pasco Exhibit Center houses the archives for the Kennebunkport Historical Society. The Town House School, home to a research center, evokes the nostalgia of a typical New England one-room schoolhouse. A shipwright's office and blacksmith shop also provide glimpses into Victorian-era life. Jail cells from the Colonial period also are on view.
Hours: Pasco Center Tues.-Fri. 9-3. Schoolhouse Wed. and Fri. 10-1. Blacksmith shop hours vary; phone ahead. Jail cells and shipwright's office by appointment.
