Kittery Historical and Naval Museum is off I-95 exit 2 to SR 236S. At the traffic circle follow signs to US 1N, then make the first right after the traffic circle onto Rogers Rd. Exhibits portray more than 350 years of Kittery's maritime and cultural heritage. Included are early shipbuilding tools; navigational instruments; ship models; a 14-foot replica of John Paul Jones' ship, the Ranger; photographs; and the lens from the Boon Island Lighthouse. A reconstructed garrison house from the early 18th century is on display.
