Fishermen's Museum

Fishermen's Museum, on the grounds of Lighthouse Park in the Pemaquid Point lighthouse keeper's house, contains exhibits chronicling the history of the local fishing industry. Charts of lighthouses along the Maine coast, a bronze buoy bell with an iron chain and a Lyle gun for shooting a lifeline to ships in distress are displayed. Other exhibits include tools used in lobstering, gear for several different sea harvesting methods, and working models of fishing boats.
