Maine State Building and All Souls Chapel is at 37 Preservation Way. Originally built to represent Maine at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, the Maine State building was dismantled and brought to Poland Spring. It was reconstructed as a library and an art gallery.
The solid granite chapel is a fine example of Victorian architecture with an oak ceiling and exquisite hand-painted windows. Exhibits relate to Poland Spring Resort and its renowned golf course as well as the Poland Spring water company and the 1893 World's Fair: Columbian Exposition. The Maine Golf Hall of Fame also is on the premises.
