Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center

Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center, 16 Museum St., houses American art, with emphasis on artists with state ties: Winslow Homer; Fitz Henry Lane; John Marin; Louise Nevelson; and Andrew, James and N.C. Wyeth. Works by the Wyeth family are in a former church on Union Street across from the Farnsworth Homestead. Changing exhibits feature important artists, current trends or historical themes.
