AAA Editor Notes
Skowhegan History House Museum & Research Center, 66 Elm St., is a well-preserved 1839 brick cottage that includes antique furniture, clothing, kitchen tools, dolls and china. A gallery hosts changing exhibits. Early town records, genealogical accounts, maps, newspapers, Revolutionary and Civil War items and photographs are on display in the attached museum. Heirloom gardens are located on the property.
