Homesteaders' Village

Homesteaders' Village, at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum, 2.5 km (1.6 mi.) s. of Hwy. 1 on Hwy. 34, depicts pioneer life in the late 19th century through some 20 furnished buildings of the period. Included are log cabins, an 1883 schoolhouse, two churches, a printing office, blacksmith's shop, grain elevator, pioneer-style store and gristmill.
