Whiteshell Natural History Museum is deep within Whiteshell Provincial Park near Seven Sisters Falls on PR 307 at Nutimik Lake, opposite the boat launch. Mounted animals within the log cabin museum depict the wildlife residing within the provincial park. Other exhibits include displays about the boreal forest, first peoples, wild rice, sturgeon and the Winnipeg River. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Free. One-day park pass $4.76 per private vehicle; three-day pass $11.43; an annual pass is available.
Hours: Sat.-Sun. 10-6, in June; Thurs.-Sun. 10-6, July-Aug.
