Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre is in the lower level of the Access Event Centre at 111-B Gilmour St. Fossil displays chronicle regional paleontology and geology. Marine reptile fossils, such as mosasaurs and plesiosaurs, date from 80 million years ago when the Western Interior Seaway covered much of North America. A highlight of the exhibits is Bruce, a 43-foot mosasaur and said to be the largest discovered in Canada. The process of finding, excavating and displaying the fossils also is depicted. Fossil Dig Adventure Tours offer a chance to excavate fossils at a nearby site.
