Stonewall Quarry Park, on the n. end of Main St., commemorates the important role limestone played in the town's development. The Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre has a museum, video presentations and exhibits. Self-guiding tours around the 30-hectare (75-acre) grounds offer a closer look at kilns, wildlife and fossil deposits in rock. Kinsmen Lake has a sandy beach and swimming; tobogganing is a winter option. Guided tours are available. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
