Heritage North Museum, in a log cabin at jct. Princeton Dr. and Mystery Lake Rd., also serves as the tourist information center. Displayed are an assortment of stuffed and mounted animals native to the area, fossils, a mining exhibit, a woolly mammoth tusk found near Thompson, a boreal forest exhibit which includes a caribou-hide tepee, and changing exhibits. A second log building houses a mining exhibit. Archives are available.
