Ross House Museum, 140 Meade St. N. in Joe Zuken Heritage Park, was the first post office in western Canada in 1854. Displays reflect the life of the Ross family, a prominent Métis family, when their home served as the post office. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Wed.-Sun. 10-4, June-Aug. First tour begins 30 minutes after opening and last tour begins 30 minutes before closing.
