U.S. Naval Academy Museum is at 118 Maryland Ave. in Preble Hall, on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy. Thousands of items are displayed on two levels. The first floor features Leadership and Service: The History of the U.S. Navy and the Naval Academy; it includes artifacts, paintings and prints. The second floor has an impressive collection of antique model ships displayed in glass cases.
Note: All visitors ages 18 and older must show a valid (not expired) original (not a photocopy) U.S. government-issued photo ID or original passport to enter the U.S. Naval Academy grounds. Visitors from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Washington and American Samoa must present a second photo ID.
Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
