Enoch Pratt Free Library, 400 Cathedral St. between Franklin and Mulberry sts., is the city's principal public library and serves as Maryland’s State Library Resource Center. Built in a 1930s Art Deco design, the library has a permanent display about H.L. Mencken that includes books, photos and letters. Guided tours are available by appointment. Guided tours are available.
