Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture is at 830 E. Pratt St. at jct. President St. The museum, the East Coast's largest African-American museum, tells the stories of ordinary and extraordinary African-American heroes in Maryland through its extensive permanent collection, educational programs and special exhibitions. Visitors learn about people who lived courageous lives and left a legacy of resilience and determination. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
$8; $6 (ages 7-17, ages 65+ and college students with ID).
Hours: Wed.-Sat. 10-5 (also third Thurs. of the month 5-8), Sun. noon-5. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31.
