AAA Editor Notes
Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards is at 301 W. Camden St. Exhibits inside Camden Station pay tribute to local college and professional sports. Babe Ruth, Johnny Unitas and horse racing as well as the Baltimore Orioles, Ravens, Colts and Blast are among the athletes, events and teams profiled. An area is dedicated to Civil War and railroad history, including President Abraham Lincoln, who is said to have stopped at this rail station several times, once on his way to his famed Gettysburg visit.
Note: The museum closed October 2015 but plans to search for a new location. Some items will be displayed at the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum in the interim. Phone for further updates.
