Dorchester County Historical Society, 1003 Greenway Dr., is a small campus that includes four buildings. The Robbins Heritage Center covers centuries of Dorchester County history with Native American artifacts and displays related to the War of 1812 and the local oyster and canning industries. The Neild Museum exhibits farming implements and a Colonial kitchen. The 1760 Meredith House is a brick Georgian home with period decor. The Goldsborough Stable dates to the early 1800s and houses old carriages, carts, a sleigh and tools. An herb garden also is on the grounds.
