In a converted grain mill just outside of town, this rustic tavern has wood floors and walls and an open, raftered ceiling. The chef/owner uses fresh ingredients from local farms in seasonally changing preparations of American cuisine. Such choices as roasted half duck with wild rice and sweet-sour black pepper roasted pineapple or pork loin medallions on sweet potato puree with country ham, mozzarella cheese, sage and Marsala wine are featured. Service is professional and friendly.
