The F. Brooke Whiting House is at 632 Washington St. This 1911 bungalow was built for the Whitings, a prominent Cumberland family. Their wealth allowed them to travel and collect various art pieces. The house displays their collections of Asian art and early American, British and European decorative arts. The Whiting Archives contains more than 1,500 volumes and ancestral documents dating to the 18th century.
