National Electronics Museum, 1 mi. e. of SR 295 off Nursery Rd. exit to 1745 W. Nursery Rd., depicts the history of advanced electronic technology through an extensive display of equipment. Visitors can see the lunar TV camera that transmitted Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon and the German Enigma machine that encoded messages in World War II. The Under Seas Gallery illustrates underwater location devices while Satellites Transform Our Lives explores satellite communication applications. The Fundamentals of Electronics Gallery offers hands-on activities. Guided tours are available by appointment. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
