AAA Inspector Notes
Slightly north of where the boardwalk ends, this oceanfront hotel has a grand nostalgic feel recalling a bygone era in its Victorian lobby and a wide beachfront veranda stocked with rocking chairs. Afternoon tea and crumpets in the lobby is a great way to end a day on the beach and a piano player and sing-along in the lobby (Wednesday through Sunday in season, Thursday through Saturday in the off-season) ends the evening with a smile. Large guest rooms and suites, all with oceanfront balconies or patios, are decorated in soothing colors that recall the sea. Smoke free premises. 234 units, some efficiencies. 11 stories, interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Quaint, and somewhat historical.
Pros: The location, which was just past the boardwalk. Unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony. Quiet, comfortable room. Free parking.
Cons: Bathtub needs resurfacing. Washcloths need replacing.

Pros: There was not a single thing that did not meet our expectations and the best thing was the 3pm tea time in the lobby of the hotel with tea, crumpets, and cookies and plenty of seating which allowed us to converse with several people.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
