Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm is off I-95/495 exit 3 or 3B and Bald Eagle Rd. at 6411 Oxon Hill Rd. Comprising 512 acres, this working 19th-century plantation and early 20th-century therapeutic farm also depicts agricultural practices from the past and present through displays of livestock and other animals, machinery, barns and gardens.
A paved hiking and bicycle trail leads visitors along the Potomac River. Farm programs (milking a cow, feeding chickens or taking a wagon ride) are offered daily.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
