Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum

Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum is at 2 Market St. on the downtown riverfront. Touch tanks; a native species aquarium; North American river otters; and exhibits about shipbuilding, sailing, early trade, commercial fishing, decoy carving and Native American culture allow visitors to explore local history and Pocomoke River ecology. There is a walk-through steamship exhibit, a crawl-through beaver dam and a LEGO table, and nature trails are on the grounds. The interactive exhibits should appeal to both children and adults. Temporary exhibits and an audio tour also are included. Educational programs are offered.
