Thomas Stone National Historic Site, 6655 Rose Hill Rd., includes Haberdeventure, the restored home of Thomas Stone, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The original structure burned in 1977 but has been restored. The 322-acre grounds contain 1840s outbuildings and a cemetery with the graves of Stone, family members, servants and slaves. The visitor center has rotating exhibits and an orientation film.

Guides offer 30-minute tours of the house, and visitors can explore the park grounds on their own.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Picnicking is permitted.
