AAA Editor Notes
Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 S. Center St., is a 142-acre tract that depicts 19th-century farm life. In addition to a farmhouse furnished in period and five barns containing old farm tools, there are 16 other buildings, an heirloom garden and nature trails. Demonstrations of quilting, spinning, weaving, blacksmithing and other crafts may take place periodically. In October the Fall Harvest Days celebration features wagon rides, live entertainment and children's games. A holiday celebration takes place in December.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
