Harpoon Brewery is at 306 Northern Ave. Opened in 1986, this South Boston facility produces a number of year-round beers, most notably the company's popular Harpoon India Pale Ale. One-hour guided tours detailing the brewing process are conducted on catwalks above the brewery floor. Also on-site is the Visitor Center & Beer Hall, which offers views of the Harpoon kegging and canning lines and the Boston skyline.
Note: Photo ID is required for beer tastings. Infants and children are permitted on guided tours but must be accompanied by a parent. Visitors under 21 are not permitted in the Visitor Center & Beer Hall on Saturdays.
