King's Chapel, 58 Tremont St., was established in 1686 by the Church of England; the building was completed in 1754. The interior is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the United States. The chapel can be visited via a self-guiding tour or via the guided, 40-minute Bells and Bones Tour, which visits the chapel's crypt and belfry. An abbreviated 20-minute version of the tour visits the crypt and belfry only. Guided tours are available.
Self-guiding tour by donation. Guided Bells and Bones Tour $10; $7 (senior citizens and students and military with ID); $5 (ages 0-12). Guided tour of only the crypt and belfry $7; $5 (ages 0-12). Concerts $20; $15 (students with ID and senior citizens). Ages 0-9 are not permitted on guided tours.

Hours: Chapel open for self-guiding tours Mon.-Sat. 10-5:30, Sun. 1:30-5:30 (except during church services and recitals), Nov.-Sept.; Mon.-Sat. 10-4:30, Sun. 1:30-4:30, rest of year. Closed Sat.-Sun. following Thanksgiving and during special events. Bells and Bones Tours are given daily at 11, 1, 2 and 3, Memorial Day-Labor Day; 10-4, rest of year. Last tour begins 1 hour before closing. Church services take place Wed. at 12:15, Sun. at 11. Recitals are held Tues. at 12:15. Concerts are held Sun. at 5. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
