Louisburg Square

Louisburg Square, on Beacon Hill between Mount Vernon and Pinckney sts., is the centerpiece of one of the most expensive residential neighborhoods in the United States. The Greek Revival houses around the square have been home to prominent artists and authors, architects and politicians. Featuring statues of Christopher Columbus and Athenian statesman Aristides the Just, the fenced-in park retains an English courtyard atmosphere.
