AAA Editor Notes
Prudential Center, between Huntington Ave. and Boylston St., is Boston's first unified business, civic and residential development. A 52-story skyscraper completed in 1964 is the centerpiece of the 28-acre site featuring shops, restaurants, a lush 1.3-acre garden and a 3,000-car parking garage. Enclosed bridges and glass-ceilinged arcades link the complex to neighboring hotels, residential and office buildings, the Copley Place mall and the Hynes Convention Center.
