AAA Editor Notes

The Mary Baker Eddy Library is at 200 Massachusetts Ave., on the western edge of The Christian Science Plaza. Highlighting the legacies of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Church of Christ, Scientist, and The Christian Science Monitor, the facility offers two floors of interactive exhibits. Its Mapparium, a three-story painted glass globe, features a sound and light presentation. Galleries celebrate great ideas throughout history, relate the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism of the Monitor and explore humanity's search for life's deeper meaning. Temporary exhibits about Mary Baker Eddy are presented each year. Guided tours are available.
$6; $4 (ages 6-17, ages 62+, and students and military with ID). Parking: $12.

Hours: Tues.-Sun. 10-4. Guided 15-minute Mapparium tours depart every 20 minutes Tues.-Sun. 10:20-4. Last tour begins at closing. Research & Reference Services (fourth floor) Tues.-Fri. noon-4. Hours may vary during special events; phone ahead. Closed major holidays. Allow 2 hours minimum.
