Trinity Church, in Copley Square at 206 Clarendon St., was consecrated in 1877. Romanesque in style, the church is considered by many to be Henry Hobson Richardson's greatest architectural work. The interior artwork was created by John La Farge. Guided tours are available.
Church free. Self-guiding or guided tour $7; $5 (students with ID and senior citizens); free (ages 0-16 with adult).
Hours: Church open for self-guiding tours Mon.-Sat. 9-5:45, Sun. 11:15-5:45. Guided tours are generally given Mon.-Sat. at varying times and also Sun. following church service; phone ahead or check the church's online tour calendar for specific tour departure times.
