USS Constitution Museum

USS Constitution Museum is off I-93 exit 28 in Charlestown Navy Yard at Pier One, Building 22. Just yards away from Old Ironsides, this interactive museum lets visitors furl a sail, fire a cannon or swing in a hammock. Visitors experience more than 200 years of the ship's history through artifacts, computer simulated re-enactments and a presentation by a historical interpreter about life on board the ship.

The Old Ironsides War of 1812 Discovery Center, opened in 2012, marks the bicentenary of the hostilities between the United States and Britain. Interactive exhibits explain all aspects of the conflict, including the significant role played by the USS Constitution.
