AAA Inspector Notes
Built in 1893 as Boston's first skyscraper. This architectural gem's design strikes the perfect balance among modernity, the retention of historic elements and high quality accommodations. The interior design is strictly contemporary using a monochromatic color scheme with small pops of color sprinkled about for effective dramatic effect. Guests may luxuriate in the high thread-count bedding, an oversized HDTV and spacious showers with a formidable rain showerhead. These modern glass-enclosed showers will allow a view of the guest room TV by opening the curtain. Centrally located between Faneuil Hall, The North End and the Financial District; and, guests can access a direct route to Logan Internatioral via Orange Line at State Street 'T' Stop. Smoke free premises. 114 units. 14 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Very Poor

Pros: The location was good.
Cons: I can't believe we were charged $--- for this room. It was a glorified Club Quarters hotel. In addition no one informed us of the MAJOR construction that was to take place in the morning right outside our room. We had to cancel a webinar and lose $.

Very well-situated hotel, in an...
Pros: The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the shower good.
Cons: Check in was a bit of a farce. Not only for us - there were a number of people checking in or out who were having more of a problem than us on the day we checked in. I appreciate that they were doing renovations at the time (although we only found out about this after we booked), meaning that luggage storage and retrieval was difficult for them, but they didn't seem particularly organised. But despite this, would definitely recommend as I imagine these issues were temporary.

Great location, but in transition
Pros: Location
Cons: The hotel is in transition to become a Hilton property. There were no restaurant, or room service available. In addition, the overall service was a bit off
