AAA Inspector Notes
Built in 1959, this newly renovated, restored and refreshed motel is a hip destination. It can also boast that it's the closest motel to Fenway Park. This hotel's vintage-style is paramount to its design. Each guest room has a manual typewriter, a push button phone and a dial thermostat. But not to worry, the TVs are flat-panel, the bedding is plush and the bathrooms are not vintage. Another neat room amenity is the working turntable; vinyl albums are available from the library in the lobby. Smoke free premises. 93 units. 2 stories (no elevator), interior corridors. Bath: shower only. Accessibility (Call).

Location is very convenient for sports fans who are attending games at Fenway Park. Subway is not too far away, and staff gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants for meals. Would definitely recommend for anyone!
Pros: Location was great; staff very helpful, courteous. Very nice breakfast. Loved our stay here!
Cons: Rooms are a bit small, but offset by all the positives.

Poor

Pros: Location.
Cons: The valet service was extremely pushy about taking my keys. The room next to us was blaring music until 4am and was smoking so much weed, and smelled up the place so much, it was like they were blowing the smoke directly in my face. Hotel did nothing.

Pros: Very interesting decor, very much a musical scene. A great Bar (Japaneese themed, lots of Sake) and Sushi restaurant.
Cons: I could not stay longer.

Pros: -friendly staff greeting at the front desk -unique decor -very clean -comfortable beds -location was good for our needs during our Boston visit (marathon - as a runner and spectator, Red Sox game -warm pool temp; but didn't have time to use it!
Cons: -I felt bad that water got on the tile floor during showers; no shower door

Pros: Hotel location was optimal for work (Boston children's) as well as nighttime leisure (Fenway Park). Centered just beyond the Right Field Grandstand, the hotel's prime location was quiet, clean and convenient for both work and play.
Cons: Parking fees were a hidden, unwelcome and costly inconvenience especially the up-charges for hotel guests who had the misfortune of driving/staying during game day/nights...Prospective guests should do a ton of homework before booking...
