Among other restaurants and upscale shops on Newbury Street, the basement restaurant is graced with lovely Indian art. Lamb vindaloo, keema mutter and chicken curry are good bets, as are the numerous vegetarian selections. Traditional desserts such as kheer, a rice pudding of sorts, and badami kulfi, an ice cream made with saffron and nuts, are a good way to finish. The Sunday lunch buffet is laid out.
