Dating from 1801, this historic sea captain's house offers lovely accommodations with distinct New England nautical décor. Antique furnishings mix with modern conveniences, such as flat-panel TVs. Rooms also feature DVD players and there's an assortment of complimentary DVD titles to view. There is a game room to enjoy at your leisure by the fireplace with books and board games. The two-course gourmet breakfast is prepared from scratch along with fresh-squeezed orange juice. Breakfast may be served in the sunroom or on the outdoor patio and courtyard. A complimentary wine and cheese reception is offered Wednesday through Sunday's in season. While port and sherry is offered year round. There are also multiple 24-hour coffee and tea spots for anytime cravings and a beverage center with free soft drinks and bottled water. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers are available to borrow.
