Historic. A professional, attentive waitstaff caters to guests at this top-rated Cape Cod restaurant. The menu changes seasonally and even daily at times to incorporate the freshest seafood and other farm-sourced ingredients. Set in a circa 1861 farmhouse with a few cozy dining rooms containing lovely Persian rugs on the original wide pine wood floors, floral wallpaper lined with original artwork for sale and elegant crystal chandeliers. The three-course menu is available for early diners at an affordable cost that includes a creatively-prepared appetizers and such entrées as crema of escargot and shiitake mushrooms with ciabatta toasts or delicious seared escallop of Atlantic salmon Nicoise served with whipped Yukon gold potatoes, grilled artichoke, Nicoise olives, capers, grape tomatoes, deviled eggs and topped with micro greens, a hardboiled egg and champagne vinegar Dijonnaise. Tables are dressed with fine linens and topped with blue-and-white-porcelain table lamps and antique English pattern plates.
