Semitic Museum

Semitic Museum is at 6 Divinity Ave. on the Harvard University campus. Houses of Ancient Israel: Domestic, Royal and Divine displays a replica of a 700 B.C.E. Israelite house with artifacts and a view of Solomon's temple. Nuzi and the Hurrians reflects everyday life in a Mesopotamian city around 1350 B.C.E. Coffins, amulets and funerary inscriptions introduce visitors to the Egyptian view of life after death in Ancient Egypt: Magic and the Afterlife. Ancient Cyprus exhibits artifacts from 2500 B.C.E. to 700 C.E.
