Longyear Museum, 1125 Boylston St., displays historic artifacts documenting the life of Mary Baker Eddy, discoverer of Christian Science and founder of the Church of Christ, Scientist. Three galleries contain a collection of photographs, documents, artifacts, furniture and portraits. A 12-minute introductory film, audio tours, an interactive computer learning station, a research library and an outdoor exhibit also are included. Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Museum by donation. Guided tour $15.

Hours: Thurs.-Sat. and Mon. 10-4, Sun. 1-4. Guided tours with tea are available by appointment. Closed major holidays.
