Museum of Russian Icons

Museum of Russian Icons, 203 Union St., showcases more than 1,000 pieces of Russian art and artifacts. Spanning 6 centuries, the private collection of icons is considered to be the largest of its kind outside of Russia. On display in a 19th-century mill building, the museum's exhibits describe icon history, painting techniques and Russian culture.

Special temporary exhibitions also are offered throughout the year.
