GUEST ROOM WAS LOVELY, NEWLY REMODELED. STAFF WAS VERY NICE, AND HELPFUL. LOBBY WAS DOWN TO STUDS IN COMPLETE RENOVATION, AND TRANSITION TO BEST WESTERN PLUS BRAND. SWIMMING POOL WAS OFF LIMITS, BECAUSE OF MAJOR REMODEL. WHEN I BOOKED HOTEL WAS DOG FRIENDLY. THIS CHANGED; IT IS NO LONGER DOG FRIENDLY. BREAKFAST WAS GENEROUS.
Pros: ROOM, STAFF, BREAKFAST
Cons: NO POOL, NO PET-FRIENDLY ROOMS

Warm, welcoming, and comfortable.
Pros: It was warm and welcoming. The room was large and clean, I felt very safe staying here. Loved the free water, coffee, and tea. Staff was friendly. Great rate. I loved this place and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend if you need an affordable and relaxing place to stay on your way to Salem.
Cons: It's not as close to Salem as I thought but the drive was manageable. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. I spent one night and it was comfortable and a nice place to rest after a lot of traveling.

One Night in Danvers
Pros: Good breakfast. Spacious room with a comfortable bed, fridge, and coffee maker. Close to Salem. Has an indoor pool, but did not utilize this visit.
Cons: $268 for one night in a hotel undergoing construction was absolutely absurd. No ATM. Lighting in the bathroom was dismal.

Woman at the front desk...
Pros:
Cons: Got in super late, my card got declined, and the lady at the front desk called the cops on us because my friend was on a cell phone (looking for another hotel.) So we were there until 12:45 am getting questioned by four cops on why we were acting weird (just drove for 10 hours,) all of our plans and what we had done, where we were going, and why we were asking if we could pay in cash (we didn't even ask that, but since when is it illegal to pay for a room in cash?) The woman at the desk didn't even say anything to us really, we were polite and apologetic about not having enough money on my debit card, and out of nowhere police show up saying we were freaking her out. Never had a problem like that with Marriott, which is where I'll be staying from now on.
